After remarks by Major Rigsby, by Chad Edwards, president of the Graceland Cemetery Association, by Gary Theall, director of the Vermilion Historical Society, and by several veterans, a list of the veterans known to be buried in Graceland Cemetery was read.  Veterans from the Civil War, the Spanish American War, World War I, World War II, and the Vietnam War were honored by a salute from the Honor Guard.
